ABOUT GRADALIGN

Company History

Gradalign began as a collection of ideas when our founder, Tyson, returned to school to pursue an education and career in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  His return to school was inspired by an early personal experience with the skills gap, and through several years of experience in recruiting and employing talent for various positions within different organizations.  It was upon returning to school that Tyson truly began to understand the skills gap between education and industry, and where his ideas in talent assessment, education, mentorship, and scholarships first began to meld into the concept of Gradalign.

As Gradalign formed from a group of ideas into a concept, class project, and eventual business it garnered the interest and support of several entities including the University of Utah - Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, 1776, Church & State, and several local businesses.  Gradalign was formally founded as a Limited Liability Corporation in November of 2015.  From its inception Gradalign has continued to grow and develop, and today it stands as the most comprehensive model of talent alignment, development, and integration for students, employers, and educators.

Company Mission

The primary mission of Gradalign is to close the skills gap between education and industry.  We accomplish this by utilizing a comprehensive model of talent alignment, development, and integration.  The Gradalign model also serves to improve onboarding, reduce turnover, and simplify the scholarship process.

Executive Team

Collectively our executive team has over 30 years of professional experience across several sectors of industry.  While our professional experience is diverse in both the industries we have worked in and the responsibilities we have fulfilled, our similar academic backgrounds have been specifically honed to facilitate an understanding and working proficiency in areas such as: talent assessment, training and development, leadership and coaching, organizational structure and culture, human factors, project management, process improvement, risk and error assessment, data analysis, and experimental and applied research.
